National News:The monsoon is active in the entire country at this time and has brought heavy destruction in many states. The maximum effect of rain and landslides is being seen in the hilly areas. 34 devotees lost their lives in a sudden landslide on the Vaishno Devi Yatra route in Jammu and Kashmir. The death toll across the state has risen to 41.

Record-breaking rain in Telangana

South India was also not untouched by the monsoon this time. The torrential rain in the Kamareddy and Medak districts of Telangana broke the record of the last 50 years. Just 24 hours of rain worsened the situation there. National Highway-44 collapsed at many places, due to which the traffic came to a complete halt and the difficulties of the people increased.

Rivers in spate in Uttar Pradesh

The water level of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers in Uttar Pradesh had reached very close to the danger mark. Although it has decreased a bit now, the effect of the flood is clearly visible in the surrounding areas. About 142 villages and 36 settlements of the city have been submerged in water. Dozens of roads and streets have been submerged, due to which the daily routine of the people has been completely affected.

Thousands of people affected; situation changed on the ghats

The effect of the flood is now visible on a large scale. About one and a half lakh people have been affected. The ghats situated on the banks of Ganga have lost contact with each other. The historic Ganga Aarti of Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi is now being held on the roof of Ganga Seva Nidhi. At the same time, due to the sinking of the stairs of Manikarnika and Harishchandra Ghats, arrangements for cremation are also being made at higher places.
Series of accidents and rain in Rajasthan

It is raining continuously in many districts of Rajasthan. Light and moderate rain was recorded on Thursday in many parts, including Karauli, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Jhalawar, Ajmer, Bhilwara, and Jaipur.

A teacher was swept away along with his bike while trying to cross the river in the Salumber area of Udaipur. His search is still on. Two teenage girls who went to take a bath in the river in the Bhilwara district drowned in the water, one of whom could not be saved.

Warning for the whole country

This activity of the monsoon shows that every state from north to south is affected in one way or another. Somewhere landslides are happening, somewhere roads are sinking, and somewhere rivers are breaking embankments. Administration teams are continuously engaged in rescue operations, but the intermittent rain is making the situation more difficult.
